Track Skip Button on the Steering wheel

I just bought a 2010 Ford Fusion and the button on the steering wheel, that you would use to skip tracks, radio stations, etc.. (The one with two little arrows left, then two little arrows right) no longer works.

 

It worked 3 days ago. I remember starting the car and none of the buttons seemed to work (for SYNC) initially and then started to work again. Now, it doesn't work, but ONLY for the iPod. I can't skip songs on an iPod with this button, but I can from the button on the deck.

 

Any thoughts? Can I simply reset SYNC for that to work?

Hi James. :D This would be my advice: While you can try to do a hard reset of the system (or the car), I would advise you make a Service Appointment to have the problem correctly diagnosed and repaired. Simply doing a reset will not necessarily fix the underlying problem which led to the buttons malfunctioning, and it will simply happen again.

 

Again, that is simply my advice/opinion.
