celston Report post Posted July 31, 2009 I just purchased a fresh-off-a-lease 2006 SE that came with the (standard?) 6-disc stereo capable of playing MP3 CDs. I had a similar after-market stereo installed in my Ranger and have already made a habit of stuffing a dozen or so albums worth of MP3s on a disc, broken up by folder, for long road trips or just around town. My issue is that my stereo seems to be struggling with the ID3 tags on the files. All files play but when I push the "TEXT" button, only the first letter shows. For example, if I have The Beatles - Abbey Road - Come Together, all I see is "T" "A" and "C" when I cycle through the TEXT button. I've tried doing both v1 and v2 tags and even trying to set the info to all-caps. Any thoughts? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
