Yeah

I was shocked when I picked up my 2012 FFH and discovered it didn't have a box light.

I guess 34k isn't enough to get something that is on cars that cost half as much.

Good thing that overhead light shines into the area pretty well.

But still...

With this type glovebox door a light is useless so why put something in just to say there is a light. The door opens inward and the overhead dome light is much better than any light that may otherwise be used. I have never seen a light in any car I have owned with this type glovebox door.

Just curious.

My door drops down and out.

I'm trying to visualize your door opening inward.

But yeah, the overhead light shines in there pretty well.

Inward means toward the interior the same as yours. And I'm sure you knew what I was talking about. It's much better said than down and out. Doesn't take away from the fact that a light would be useless.

This will take some getting used to. I never knew my glovebox door closed outward. Edited by FFHdriver

All glovebox doors in all cars close outward in relation to the occupant. Outward is away from you inward is toward you. But seeing some of your other post this does not surprise me that you are so confused.

They even have a small area on the side of the compartment to place the gloves.

That's for CDs.

That's for CDs.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to start that argument.

Did i hurt your fillings, I put gloves in mine. And no where does it say that is for CD's. It's for whatever someone wants to put in it, and for that matter my CD's will not fit in there.

This site was so nice and peaceful for a while looks like it's going to get ugly like the Fusion forum it only took a couple of you to ruin the peacefulness. It was nice while it lasted.

What arguement? I never said you had to put CDs in there. My point was that they will fit. A standard 51/2"x 413/16" CD case fits in mine. If you do a search you'll find that over the last two years more than one owner has mentioned that they thought the reason for the slot was CD storage. Edited by FFHdriver

You said "that's for CD's", implying that what I said was wrong, this my son is starting an argument. And I am well aware of the posts about what this small area is for. You just always have to be the one that is right, you do this to almost everyone and you are one of the reason I no longer use the Fusion forum. I get tired of post after post and your trying to correct everyone. You are wrong most of the time and I get tired of reading posts from you. Everyone does not have a 51/2x413/16" cd case and nothing much larger than that will fit.

I never said the compartment was for gloves, I said "you can put gloves". Maybe I was a little sensitive to the comeback because it was from you but none the less you are always tring to get the last word and make others appear ignorant.
