wilburthebud Report post Posted April 11, 2024 Sensible way to change? Access is very poor. I've been getting the P0128 off and on for two years, If I clear it with Forscan it stays away for a while. Just looking at the temp gauge, it seems to take a while to warm up. I'm just afraid it will re-occur when I have to go for emissions. Plus the coolant is old. I'm looking at maybe disconnecting the AC suction line.
NDallas40 Report post Posted May 6 Did you resolve this issue as I am having the same problem?
wilburthebud Report post Posted Wednesday at 05:47 AM I never bothered to change the thermostat. I'd have to disconnect AC hoses for access; requiring evacuate and recharge. The code hasn't reoccurred lately, and if it does, I'll just clear it with ForScan. No performance issues; I'm in Tucson and rarely use the heat.
