Can i wire an Amp to battery in trunk 2013 hybrid se

i want to put in a subwoofer and amp in my 2013 fusion hybrid se would i be able to power the amp directly from the battery on the drivers side of the trunk or do i have to go through the trouble of wiring directly to the bigger battery under the hood?

There is no battery under the hood

The battery is very small. The max subwoofer it could support is probably 100W or so.

 

Additionally, adding a battery in parallel may look like a good idea, but can trigger the fuses, or worse, break the 12V battery charger.

 

No one I know has tried it. It's not your standard 12v alternator, but a circuit unit on the HVB that downconverts the voltage from 300V to 14V, and probably will be expensive to replace.
