mwr Report post Posted July 24, 2023 I recently bought a 2017 FFH SE from CarMax. So far it seems perfect, except that I need to hold the window switch UP, for the front windows, until those windows are fully up. The One-Touch UP feature as described in the manual, and which worked on my 2015 FFH, doesn't work. Any ideas?
2014FordFusionSE Report post Posted July 24, 2023 (edited) See if the reset procedure here helps: If not, you'll have to take it to the dealer or let Carmax know. (Maybe you bought rdr's car :)) Edited July 24, 2023 by 2014FordFusionSE
Cobra348 Report post Posted July 25, 2023 Just as 2014FordFusionSE says ... but what I've used is what I did on my old Fiesta. Basically the same except I held the button for a count of 3 before releasing. Steps would be something like ... 1. With window up, fully press and hold down button 2. When all the way down, hold for 3 seconds 3. Pull and hold the button for up 4. When all up, hold for 3 seconds I think the hold cycle just sets the operation. On the Fiesta if I didn't do that it still screwed up. I assume other Fords are same. <shrug>

Also, I don't recall needing to do that with my 2015 FFH which i bought new.
Cobra348 Report post Posted July 25, 2023 (edited) In the thread that 2014FordFusionSE linked in, look at the third post in the thread - from jeff_h. It's basically these - twice. But it does work! Edited July 25, 2023 by Cobra348
Waldo Report post Posted July 25, 2023 The module can "lose" it's setting for various reasons, so this is just a basic "learning" procedure that all Fords need to do from time to time.

I never had to do this in the 8 1/2 years I had my 2015 FFH.
