billford Report post Posted September 6, 2020 Get another code reader first. Wouldn't trust that, says your fusion has 3 rows of seating. 1 Emad reacted to this

billford Report post Posted September 7, 2020 A quick google search returned this: Quote SSM 46901 2017-2018 Fusion/MKZ – Illuminated Air Bag Lamp And/Or SYNC 911 Assist Not Operational Message – Built On Or Before 27-Oct-2017 Some 2017-2018 Fusion/MKZ vehicles built on or before 27-Oct-2017 may exhibit an illuminated airbag lamp and/or SYNC 911 assist not operational message being displayed. Connect the IDS and check the RCM and APIM for DTCs. If any of the following RCM DTCs U3000, U2100, U2101, U2300, U0455, B0080, B141B, B141C, B0054, B140C, B140D, B0057, B140E, B140F and/or APIM DTC U0452 is stored, then reprogram the RCM to the latest level using IDS or FJDS 107.04 or higher. After reprograming, perform an as-built configuration of the RCM. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. For claiming, use causal part 14B321 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com Basically, your need to get the air bag module reprogrammed from the dealer. The air bag systems have their own warranty, 5 years, 60,000 miles, so yours may be covered depending on mileage. Good luck.
Emad Report post Posted September 7, 2020 Thank you for your valuable response, ford dealer can't be reached, can I get the air bag module reprogrammed from any local dealer or it's sensitive
billford Report post Posted September 8, 2020 I would go to a dealer because it may still be covered under warranty. And because it's a safety system. Just remember, if the airbag light is on, the system is deactivated, so it's not going to protect you in a crash.
gabster555 Report post Posted October 8, 2020 i had the airbag light come on my FFH. There was a connector which sits under the passenger seat.. i wiggled the connector, tucked in better under the seat, and my airbag light went away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_onxXADxRE&ab_channel=proclaimliberty2000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiO9wUb9FV4&ab_channel=ChrisFix
