Hood Scoops? (Cosmetic)

I Work for PayPal (eBay) and ran across a hood scoop for a fusion during my daily work, anyone know where I can find pics of what they actually look like when applied?

 

I pick my fusion up on Friday (totaled my focus - see the link below) and I really dig the fusion's style, hell of a step up for me. I want to have a subtle sport look. It will come with the sport appearance package and it's red. Any suggestions, points in the right direction would be stellar.

I got lucky though - t-boned at 45 MPH, I'm definetly a ford fan after that wreck. Walked away without a scratch, happened on the 18th of this month on my way to an In Flames concert - which I ended up missing (damnit!).

Welcome! :) I also made the transition from Focus (2005 ZX4 ST, and before that 2003 ZX3), though fortunately not from an accident, just from end of lease. :) But yeah the Fusion is a beautiful step upward and I love it.

 

Do you have any links to that hood scoop you're talking about? I imagine it will not look good, but I could be wrong.

 

Also post a few pics of your ride when you get a chance.

Could be cool, could be lame, i'd need to see some better pics. Flows with the angles of the car which i dig a lot. On the other hand, it looks like a laptop lol.

 

Get my Fusion in 7 hours! Just gotta tint those windows and I'll be set. It's like f-n Christmas lol.

WOW! $325.00 for stick on hood scoop.... You can get a whole new hood with dual integrated inlets for about $500.00 here...

Guess what I went out and bought my new 2010 Fusion after retiring my 1996 Maxima and never told a soul.....no.....not even my wife. I bought it with my money for myself.......and that was it......been in LOVE ever since. Ciao

If it's a cosmetic hood scoop, I suggest you save your money for something that actually adds performance to your car, not waste it on something that decreases performance by adding unnecessary weight. Even a 'real' hoodscoop is a joke for a Fusion, but a stick-on?

 

But to each his own. It doesn't matter if it looks cool or not to anyone else here. Do YOU like it?

The scoops I've seen on ebay look terrible. I agree with xmech. Spend the dough on performance.
