mwr Report post Posted June 6, 2019 I noticed a shark fin antenna on a Fusion recently and it wasn't shaped like mine from CD3. I went the Ford website and the photos of Fusions show the shark fin.https://www.ford.com/cmslibs/content/dam/vdm_ford/live/en_us/ford/nameplate/fusion/2019/collections/highlights/3_2/2019_studio_fusion.jpg/_jcr_content/renditions/cq5dam.web.1440.1440.jpeg

djminfll Report post Posted September 2, 2019 (edited) I added a shark fin from cd3 on my 2017, I just really hated the way the regular antenna looked on the car. Edited September 2, 2019 by djminfll
CV12Steve Report post Posted October 28, 2019 Haven't had a car with a shark fin yet that can reliably pick up FM stations from any distance at all.Granted, the fins look better. I'm not opposed to retractables in the A-pillar or rear quarter panel.

Why not get a sharkfin loaner/rental for a day or two and experiment?
CV12Steve Report post Posted October 28, 2019 (edited) I've has fins on rentals, and back to back model years that switched - FM stations with the fins always fade out much sooner.I would expect SiriusXM to be pretty much the same with either, even in urban canyons.
