Cobra348 Report post Posted April 24, 2016 Not to be smartmouth ... but replace the screen? I too have a scratch and I believe that's the only way.
gkinla Report post Posted April 25, 2016 Does anyone have a solution to removing a scratch on the touch screen? Try a Nu Sheld screen protector. It will probably cover up the scratch and eliminate the fingerprints on the screen. I have had one on since the car was new (3 plus years) and still enjoy not having the screen messy with fingerprints. I use the Nu Shield Triple A. If it works covering the scratch, it'll be much cheaper than a new screen. Just like putting a shield on an iPad or any other tablet or smart phone. http://www.nushield.com/

DeeCee Report post Posted April 25, 2016 +1 on the Nu Shield. I have one on mt 2013 FFH since the beginning. It does a great job of protecting the screen and minimizing finger prints. 1 13FFH reacted to this

Dos it dim or degrade the image in any way?
DeeCee Report post Posted April 26, 2016 Not sure which version I bought. All I can find in my paperwork is the installation procedure for a NuShield DayVue anti reflective film. It did not dim or degrade my display

aschulz261 Report post Posted April 27, 2016 I've got the Dayview and it is great. Very few fingerprints and there is NO change in legibility or btightness of the screen.
gkinla Report post Posted April 27, 2016 Why did you choose the Triple A instead of the DayVue? Did it dim or degrade the the image in any way? Was it easy to install? The Triple A degrades the image slightly because it's a matte finish, but hides fingerprints. The DayView is more glossy and doesn't degrade the image much or not at all...but you might get the fingerprint problem. I initially chose the Triple A because of the Anti Bacterial and anti fingerprint properties. Fingerprints became a non issue. I tried the DayView on my iPad and quickly removed it because it was too soft. My experience only, on MFT it probably will be okay because it doesn't get handled.
