Does Ford know what the word upgrade means? I wish I could upgrade my My Ford Touch to Sync 3. Might as well say buy a new car, get Sync 3.

I think it's referring to upgrade from the base Sync system, note how it says the same thing for MFT. If you're going to buy a new Escape, it comes standard with base Sync, or you can upgrade to Sync III.

63.SYNC® AppLink is available on select models and compatible with select smartphone platforms. SYNC AppLink is not compatible with MyFord Touch.

 

 

That darn #63... Gets me every time!
