FooFan Report post Posted September 30, 2015 I am new to Ford sync and was wondering why the sync/media always defaults to line in and not Bluetooth audio? I change it every time I get in the car and each time it defaults back to line-in. This is very annoying as my Camry hybrid never had a problem doing this as well as remembering what song was playing last as well as displaying artist and song title. Are either of these issues fixable or do I have to fumble through menus every time I want to listen to Bluetooth content on my phone?
dysert Report post Posted September 30, 2015 Hey, you're a step ahead of me. I don't even know how to get my phone's music to play through the car at all. Would you mind sharing?

Hey FooFan, Have you created an account on Owner.Ford.com and checked for a SYNC update? If not, I suggest starting there. The newest update (version 4.4) is supposed to have the system default to the last known source you were listening to. Previous software versions made the system default to Line-in. Let me know if you have any questions. :) Hey, you're a step ahead of me. I don't even know how to get my phone's music to play through the car at all. Would you mind sharing? Hi dysert, I can help! Which system do you have: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/get-started-with-sync/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html Rebecca 1 GrySql reacted to this
mmarreco Report post Posted October 28, 2015 Anyone found a solution to this problem? I have a 2013 FFH with the basic Sync and looking at the owner.ford.com there are no updates available - I am running version Gen1 - 4.2.1.F. Any ideas on how I can change the default to bluetooth? FordIVTteam Report post Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) Hi mmarreco, Did you check in your account under SYNC & HOW-TOS, then CHECK FOR SYNC UPDATES for the 4.4 software? Rebecca Edited October 29, 2015 by FordIVTteam
