Wade Burtch Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Is there anybody out there with a 2014 Fusion hybrid SE, who has run 16 inch wheels? Tirerack says they won't fit, but as far as I am able to tell, the Hybrid SE has the same brakes as the standard Fusion, which runs 16 inch wheels. 16 inch wheels/tires are better and cheaper for snowtires. Tirerack says they won't fit, but I have a strong hunch that they are using a computer program based on OEM equipment, not actually on what fits. Any thoughts? Waldo Report post Posted August 11, 2015 My 16in mini-spare fits on all 4 corners. Not true of the Energi though. 1 Wade Burtch reacted to this
Cobra348 Report post Posted August 11, 2015 '15 is my first experience with FFH,but AFAIK 16" rims are not something they ran. My brother has 17" on his '12 and mine are 17". You can setup a 16" donut spare using Ford parts and tread from TireRack, but to my knowledge not a road wheel/tire.
Hybrider Report post Posted August 11, 2015 See this discussion link below, found in the "Wheels & Tires" section of these FFH forums. It should answer most of your questions about 16" wheels and tires. http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/9487-fuel-mileage-upgrade-with-16-in-wheels/ 2 hybridbear and GrySql reacted to this
