Cobra348 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) After a few days, I have finally gotten the immediate things on my list done. So without further ado, I present Nytwing as he sits now. Exterior - 17" Verde Regency rims on it. OEM rims are 17" as well and will be the Winter set with snow tread on them. Right side of engine bay ... Steeda strut tower brace and hoods struts installed. The notch is the only hacking we had to do in order to get the strut onto the ball joint. A real donut spare! Assembled and installed exactly as outlined in the thread for the 16" item. Many thanks! Mods ... I tried embedding thumbs via the image button and the url, but it always produced a "broken link" graphic. Pics are hosted on Photobucket. Cobra348 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) THAT was a no brainer! I've used Fix-a-flat in the far past and hated what it did to things. I also cannot see having to replace valve and sensor when you do use it. I know the WHY of that but the necessity because they won't put a decent spare in just boggled the mind. I take trips of 2000 miles or more many times and there is a lot of construction (even on interstates) that can kick up junk to damage a sidewall. We all know the gunk in the trunk will not work on those type of leaks/damage. For just a hair over $500 for the whole shebang, I figure it was worth it. I should mention that I carry a compressor anyway. I just haven't slipped it into the well yet. It's one of the electronic ones from AutoZone for a whopping $22 including tax - and plugs into a 12V socket. Edited April 27, 2015 by Cobra348

hybridbear Report post Posted April 27, 2015 (edited) What does the strut tower brace do? Do you have a picture of it that is a little more zoomed out? Edited April 27, 2015 by hybridbear
