  1. My family took the FFH out for a serious road trip vacation. We did 5 states in 10 days, starting in Southern California to Northern California, through Nevada to Salt Lake City Utah, to Denver Colorado, to Southern Utah to Arizona to Nevada and finally back to Southern California. I reset the mpg screen after each fill up to get results based on each tank fill up and each or a stopping point in our route. I thought you all might find it interesting if nothing else you can compare it to your own car if ever traveling the same route? I used the car's navigation so if you put the city's names from each fill up point you will get the same freeways I traveled. 2013 vacation gas mileage results. We used eco cruise 85% of the time to get consistent results. I'm confident I could have done a little better than Eco cruise did but when your driving this many miles cruise control is much easier. .. Moorpark California to Sacramento California got 41.2mpg 72mph speed limit 70mph Sacramento to Shasta Lake California got 38.1 mpg-- lots of mountain driving so speed varied 45-72mph Shasta Lake Ca. to Susanville Ca.got 38.3 mpg--lots of mountain driving so speed varied 35-65 mph Susanville Ca. to Elko Nevada got 43.9 mpg 73mph, speed limit 75mph Elko Nevada to Salt Lake City Utah got 39.6 mpg 75 mph, speed limit 75mph Salt Lake City Utah to Steamboat Springs Colorado got 46.0 mpg, 68mph, speed limit 65mph Steamboat Springs Colorado to the Rocky Mountains National Park to Denver got 48.2mpg, mountain driving-20-65mph continued on to Rifle Utah (75mph) and refilled with 45.7mpg. Rifle Utah to Arches National Park, refilled in Richfield Utah, got 39.1mpg doing 25-80mph, lots of mountains. Richfield Utah to Zion National Park and refilled in Kanab Utah, got 42.5mpg, lots of mountains. Kanab Utah to the Grand Canyon, refilled in Kingman, Arizona. 43.5mpg 55-78mph. Kingman Az. To Las Vegas Nevada-47.3mpg-70mph- continued on to Rancho Cucamonga California and refilled at 40.8 mpg- driving 70-75mph crossing the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Rancho Cucamonga Ca. to my house in Moorpark Ca. going 65mph got 48.1mpg. .... So 3168.9 miles--470.1 miles EV-- and my total trip mpg average was 42.0mpg ... I was very pleased with my overall mpg. The car was packed as well. It had my wife, two kids and myself. A back seat so full of kid toys etc, that you couldn't see where the seat ended and the floor began and in the trunk I managed to fit, 1 full size suit case, 4 carry on suit cases and whatever else i could jam in the crevices! lol. If you could squeeze two quarters in there I would be impressed. ;) The car handled and drove flawlessly and it was a very fun family vacation. Happy motoring! Leon
