(I tried searching but the search feature ignores H9.) Trying to plan ahead in case my Fusion's original H11 halogen bulbs go out soon. After some googling, I found this: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/white-wall-lux-comparison-led-h11-ll-h11-100-h9.384923/ In short, you can modify H9 bulbs to replace H11s. H9's are 65W and H11's are 55W. H9's are actually brighter with more lumens and they don't blind other drivers if used inside projector headlight assemblies.

Hi everyone! Folks, I want to do something about my Fusion's headlights, and here is a good pic of the lights which I want to have instead. I believe it is better to do the retrofit to have those halo rings and glowing line installed. You know, into my factory lights and fog lights. See the better pic for explanation. The reason I'm posting here is because I want to talk to someone who did this upgrade on the Fusion and could possibly tell me, whether it is easy to disassemble the headlight and install the extra glowing parts? Also, maybe someone can tell me from their experience, what halos would work better - all-LED or those that are like a glass tube with a glowing gas. Here is the pic of what I'd like to do, this Ford is not mine, I've taken the photo from https://www.carid.com/gallery/ford/fusion/ And this is my Fusion, by the way: Let me know what your thoughts on this are.

I notice when driving with auto headlights during the afternoon that driving under an overpass (local streets <45mph) the lights switch on then 2 seconds later after coming back into daylight they switch off. I wouldn't mind it so much except I don't want oncoming traffic thinking I am flashing them or something. I haven't looked in the manual yet but is there a way to adjust this sensitivity other than turning off auto headlights altogether? If I designed this system I would make the light sensitivity that turns them on a lot lower. Afternoon shade? really??

The headlights on my 2015 FFH SE turn on using the setting (high or low beams) that was active when they turned off. They do this whether you turn them on with the switch or they turn on automatically (auto headlights). I think that's a safety issue, especially in the case of auto headlights when you don't even realize the lights have switched from DRLs to headlights and can drive for quite a while using high beams without noticing it. I think the headlights should always turn on with low beams.
