    Driver Door

From the album: 2013 Fusion SE Hybrid

I have my phone mounted with a suction cup power mount to the little vent window section. I routed the power cord from it under the dash to the cigarette lighter in the forward center console. This keeps the phone battery full on extended trips, and charges even when the car is off. There is minimal draw from the car battery.

The switch icons show up fine through the center console piece as evidenced by turning the lights on. I mounted 2 4" blue LED strips under the console braces to light up the lower portion of the console with a slight blue glow so I can find stuff down there. The photo shows the blue a lot brighter than it actually is. It is a very subtle blue glow at night and turns on any time the car is running. I got the strips at Pep Boy for about $7 I wired them into a center console wire that is only hot when the key is turned to accessory on or the car is running.

    Rear Center Console

From the album: 2013 Fusion SE Hybrid

I have no idea why they did not add a piece for the lower portion!
  4. From the album: 2013 Fusion SE Hybrid

I really like how the console turned out. The cutouts for the touch buttons actually add tactile feel to them which limits activation of the wrong switch while driving. 53 piece kit for front and back. I left off the pieces that would have covered the silver trim. I felt it would have been overkill.

    Faux Wood Overlay

From the album: 2013 Fusion SE Hybrid

This medium burled walnut overlays the existing faux wood found in the interior. I'm not crazy about how they split this into pieces (thus the seam) but I understand why they did it. They estimated the curvature would be too much, but I really don't think it would have been a problem to go with one piece to the left of the vent. At any rate, if there was a weak spot in the look, this was it.
