I was wondering if anyone here is having an issue where music will skip when streaming using Bluetooth? I have tried several devices and some will skip and some will not. Any suggestions or ideas for me to check? Skips almost all the time - Galaxy Note 2 :rant2: Skips sometimes - iPhone 5 :hammer_self: Doesn't seem to skip at all - Galaxy Nexus and Droid Incredible

I'm one week into owning a 2013 Fusion Hybrid and love it. But, I was on a phone call yesterday. I was connected hands free through bluetooth. Halfway through the call, it stopped working - the caller couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear the caller. I was able change my phone to drop bluetooth and go to speakerphone and finished my call. The phone worked and it was still linked to the car (I could see history and my phonebook and initiate calls), but I couldn't hear when connected on a call. I unsynched the bluetooth connection and resynched. That didn't help. I reset the entire mytouch system to factory defaults and that didn't help. I didn't see anything like this in the manual and I've searched the forum and didn't see anyone else with this problem. Has anyone seen this problem?

Okay, after playing with things, I finally have MFT 3.5.1 working with my iPod touch for bluetooth music and my SGS3 for phone connections. Here's what I did: Under Phone:Added a phone as the primary connection (911 setup, voicemail, etc.)Clicked on my phone in the Bluetooth screen and under info, unselect BT StereoUnder Entertainment:Scroll to BluetoothClick add a deviceAdded the iPod TouchSaid no to the favorite/primary phone prompt (Yes even though this is an iPod touch MFT believes it is a phone.)Start playing musicUnder Phone:Go to settingsGo to BluetoothClick on the phone and connect If done correctly, you'll see two blue sync icons, one next to the iPod, one next to your phone. You can turn off your car and turn it back on, it'll reconnect correctly. ------------------ That said, here's the down side. In my testing, after turning the car off and back on, the audio started skipping from my iPod. Seems this is a known problem with audio streaming via Bluetooth. When I first connected there wasn't any skipping, so it is possible. My next task: Getting the SGS3 to display test messages. The SGS3 supports MAP, it even gets the request from the car, but won't display the results. I haven't figured out why yet.

My phone doesn't send the artist or song names to MFT when I stream music via bluetooth. This is because it's a Nexus phone and stock Adnroid doesn't support AVRCP version 1.3. But this is all about to change! AVRCP 1.3 is coming to Android API level 18 (the current 4.2 Jelly Bean release is API level 17) !!!! This is so exciting. The update will also include Bluetooth Low Energy support -- also known as Bluetooth Smart and Smart Ready. The phone will just need MAP support to make it fully usable. Is anyone else having trouble with the speed control volume on their car? I have tried turning it all the way up to 7 without being able to notice it working. Also I am less than impressed with how my sync and my android phone play music. I was hoping for the applink or on-screen pandora/spotify apps. Does the iphone work better? Is the artist/song information shown on the driver or nav screen? All I see if on the entertainment screen is it saying that it's connected to bluetooth.
