  1. I bought and had a second key programmed at the dealer today. I got the car into programming mode, and when I push the buttons to get the flip key to program, it honks the horn on the car and doesn't actually program. It appears they aren't compatible.
  2. OK, I bit the bullet and bought a second dealer key. I got the car into program mode, i pressed the button on the flip key, and each button press only made the car honk, not perform any of the intended functions. Once the car is out of program mode, the key does nothing. Looks like I'm out of luck.
  3. I took my key to he dealer, and they said they would program it, but not cut it. I took it to a locksmith to cut it, and they have the ability to program as well. Before cutting it, he scanned both keys and said the chips are different, and the flip key wouldn't work. Looks like I get to contact the seller and see what the word is.
  4. Might be a silly question, but since my car only came with one key, with a dealership be able to program my flip key for me?
  5. I've had good luck with the Goodyear blades sold at Costco. They have the same design as the RainX and others that are supposed to be free of pressure spot, but aren't too bad on price.
  6. I just ordered two of the keys myself. The car only came with one, so I am going to have to have the dealer program at least one of them.
