Tools do seem to be the issue so far. I've only found rivet tools that go up to 3/16", and these don't fit. 1/4"? I have a few other places to look, but so far this isn't looking user-friendly just from that angle.

I recently took ownership of a 2006 Fusion from out of state. Unfortunately, Colorado requires front license plates and I didn't get a bracket for it with the car. I have since acquired a bracket kit, which includes the plastic bracket itself and two rivets. I am at a loss when it comes to the actual installation process, though. There were no instructions. Is this something an owner with little technical experience in such things should be able to do, or should I be turning to a dealer/mechanic?
