  1. Haven't had it on my Fusion, but my wife's 99 Escort had 2 or 3 that rattled pretty bad once one of the mounting points had rusted through. I cut them off with an angle grinder 3-4 years back and it's been nice & quiet since.
  2. I'd also like to know what you find out. We are building a new house that is about 1 mile off of pavement so we'll have gravel every day once we move.
  3. Don't you have a hybrid? I'm thinking that the cabin air filter is included in the hybrid model, but not the others. I don't really feel like taking out my glove box just to find out there isn't anything back there.
  4. I find it odd that the 2010 s/se/sel Owners manual doesn't list anything about it whatsoever. But the Hybrid owner's manual does. By the time I actually need to replace it (if it exsists) maybe I will have a better idea if it actually does exist on my SEL.
  5. Exactly. CD's will hold 700MB of data. The Track length and bitrate at which the track was recorded will dictate how many mp3 files will make up 700MB. Most popular songs from CD's are 4-5 minutes. At a bitrate of 128Kbps, these will be approximately 4-5 MB per song. 700MB = 170 files ~ 4MB each. With a 6 Disc changer, that's around 1000 songs.
  6. I am wondering the same thing. I do not have the Navigation system, just the 501 package. It reads a cd with mp3 files just fine. I would like to know if it will read a DVD full of mp3's. No real definitive answer yet.
  7. My '10 SEL has factory spoiler. Works just fine for me. Kind of a greenish tint, but considerable dimmer than the light magnitude coming from the side mirrors. Only had it a week so my wife hasn't had a chance to drive it at night yet. She's considerably shorter than I am so interested to see if it works less effectively for her.
  8. 2.5 miles? Heck, just walk! Just kidding. Depending on what you have to wear and/or take with you to work, walking/cycling are not always a good option even if commute is very short.
  9. +1 I also have had trouble with some radio displays on other vehicles when I wore certain polarized sunglasses, but so far not on our Fusion.
