I've had good results with Eagle One Nano Protectant. I have the same color and it always gets scuff marks on the plastic trim from my shoes when I get in and out of the car but this cleaner does good to clean that up.

I use something similar, it's called the licsense plate frame...

I would pick up another cable, maybe it's bad. I use my ipod alot and never had any issues...Hope you get it working

On the Mustang there was a small hole that you insert a paper clip and that would release the latch. Not sure about the Fusion but thats something to look for.

Wonder if this could be achieved by changing the switches or if it's more complicated that that. If there's any Ford people on the board that could help find out, please chime in....
