  1. Of Course he lost his sync that is part of the Stock headunit.
  2. Remove the panel surrounding the headunit and the air controls/vents. Its all clipped in so just tug on it. Then remove the 4 bolts and pull headunit out. Run the RCA's on the right side of the vehicle to your trunk. I dont know what your going to do about a remote wire unless but that is a entirely different issue someone else might be able to explain to you.
  3. But doesnt this put the Total resistance on that channel @ 2 ohms which pretty much all headunits cant support so it would end up damaging your HU because its internal amp will run too hot and the sound not be clean?
  4. I have already installed my HU and the speakers. I bought wiring harnesses to make it alot easier. I was wondering because my speakers sound good but I want to hook up the stock tweeters because I want some ear level tweets without buying new ones. I am not using a amp and I noticed on the stock speakers there are bass blockers ( I have a pair of 8400 mF bass blockers) and that it appears the speakers & tweeters are wired in parallel. I dont think the stock HU is capable of producing a 2 ohm load so this seems odd to me. So my question is if hooking up the stock tweeters in the same way that Ford has them is a good idea on my new headunit which the internal amp is only rated for 4 ohms. I am asking this because it only appears to me ( not a expert) they are run in parallel unless someone can confirm they are run in a series. I would like to run my tweets right from the headunit but its only 4 channels Any suggestions or answers to my questions?
