  1. My 09 SEL is heated at the bottom and the lower back. I replaced one of my seat covers and the coil runs up the lower part of the seat back where it's perforated.

Hmmm. Now I'm second guessing my reply. I tried mine (2010 Fusion) and only the bottom got hot plus the icon on the button only shows the bottom. I have contacts with Ford so I'll ask them when I get a chance. :)

  2. Rodeo.

I don't think the exposed LED's are annoying. They are really not that big.

You can't adjust the brightness of the ambient lights. However, Ford currently offers Ambient Lighting that can be dimmed in the 2010 Taurus and 2010 Mustang. Maybe the dimming feature will be added to future Fusions.

To turn the ambient lights off, just continue to press the button til they go off. There are 7 colors so the 8th time you press the button they will go off.

As far as DRL's, only Fusion's sold in Canada (where DRL's are required by law) have DRL's.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Thanks for the info. This one slipped past me. I did the CFC on the Friday it was approved and did not expect to get anything back as far as scrap value. Of course I turned in a 1986 Ford LTD II but it only had 66,000 original miles on it so maybe I will still get something.

  4. I just bought a 2010 Silver Ford Fusion and I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that had pink and black wheels? Or which would be cheaper- buying or getting painted?

Since wheels sometimes get beat up, I would look into having them powder coated vs. paint. :)

  5. Hello everyone. I am hoping someone here has the SAP 18" Charcoal Machined Alloy's that they want to part with.

I found a couple sets on ebay for around 1100. While thats not a bad price, Its more than I have available.

I also would not mind trading my BRAND NEW 16" SE wheels with BRAND NEW tires, they have 450 miles on them, plus cash to sweeten the deal.

    Anyway, thanks for looking.

I see you are from Detroit. Give Kensington Motors a call. They have a location in Brighton. They are the recycler of Ford OEM parts. Ford used to scrap all test vehicles, etc., but now they certify the parts/vehicles and send them to Kensington Motors.
