  1. well the dealership has roadforce balanced them once, tires plus did the last balancing and alignment, I still haven't had time to take it back to the shop but I pretty much have a vibration at all speeds now and the handling is sketchy at best, grrr.
  2. okay so Ive got an 09 sap 4cyl auto, it still has the factory goodyear eagle rsa, 225/45/18, just a tick over 21k, Ive had this thing aligned 5 times now, the tires have been rebalanced 3x, I still continue to have a vibration at all speeds and a slight pull depending on the road. I have gotten so sick of taking it to the shop that until I can narrow down a problem i don't want to take it back anymore, the dealership has stopped warranting the alignment and I don't know if there would be any kind of warranty on the tires themselves, from what I read in the book its only covered for the first 2/32 and I know that ive used more than that. But anyway has anyone else had to have their cars aligned this many times and tires balanced like this? I only have a bigger rear sway bar on the car, and everytime that the alignment has been off its always the rear toe that has to be redone.
  3. I agree there definitely needs to be a light in the glovebox.
  4. I have seen people running up to a 255 so I don't think you would have any problems with a 245 I hope to go that big myself when the time comes.
  5. I have already painted the antennae, I did some pinstriping last sunday and this weekend I am going to paint the calipers but I am also going to paint the word FUSION just like all the aftermarket companies do. Lets see everyones custom little touches that you have done.
  6. Oh yeah another tip, if you do go ahead with this project there is a little rubber gasket or seal that is at the base of the antennae that paint will not stick to, found this out when I was peeling all the tape off. So it would be worth it to go ahead and mask that off so you don't have to gently scrape the paint off of it.
  7. OKAY I got the antennae painted last night and I did the following process, I roughed it up with some 600 grit, cleaned it down, wiped it with alcohol, taped it off, covered the car to avoid that nasty overspray. I shot 3 coats of duplicolor gray primer, 2 light, 1 medium wet, followed by 5 coats of duplicolor silver metallic, 3 light 2 medium wet, followed up with 3 coats of clear, 2 light 1 wet. After all that I still don't have any depth or luster too it. I think it looks better than the black but not quite 100% color matched. I will try and get some pics up this weekend.
  8. JL audio has something in their lineup that boosts the quality of sound without having to replace your factory nav system but increasing sound quality. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansw....php?page_id=94
  9. Hey all I was wondering if anyone had either painted their antenae or replaced it with a better looking aftermarket one. I have the screw off portion already painted however I am not 100% satisfied because it doesn't have the same luster the car does now I know it's plastic and not metal but I am sure there is a way to get some depth to it isn't there?
  10. I had the same problem yesterday I was looking for the vapor silver at O'Reilly's and they didn't even have an 09 paint code book yet, basically I settled for the regular silver metallic as I am just painting the antennae and base and because they are plastic the color isn't going to be as deep and shiny anyway but the color is almost perfect.
  11. It looks like all he did was spray the grille with a rattle can, if you look closely the ford emblem is still there. As far as the head and taillights you can go to your local auto parts store, buy the head and taillight spray paint and follow the directions. I will be doing my taillights next weekend.
