As in halogen?
-
Just put the oem halogen back in left low beam. Right LED still ok
-
My left low beam LASFIT LED bulb started flickering last week and is officially done after 3yrs. Is that normal life expectancy? This is what I ordered originally: LC Plus H11 H9 H8 LED Bulb 50W 5000LM 6000K White

Took care of it. Thx. Added coolant based on manual specs.
-
Ok thx. I’m assuming any coolant will do. Haven’t checked manual

Staves started following Is my coolant low? Pic attached

Is this how much coolant should be in the reservoir? Been like this the last few times I’ve checked with car being parked for hours. I assume I can just take off the cap and add a little if needed when car is cold?

Bought my SE FFH with 4700 mi 11/1/2021. Just hit 30k. Averaging around 40-41 mpg in mixed driving calculated by hand. Love this car for most part. Comfortable and drives really well. Only nitpicks: 1-Random vibration from passenger door handle. Was fixed under warranty but sound came back although way more common at night in winter months. It’s super random now. 2-Some loose threads on driver seat. That’s about it. I drive around a lot for work and play and am impressed. It also looks great IMO. It’s not even that slow. I use the key code on the door all the time too. Love it. Hope I can get 200k out of it!

36mpg in mixed. Don't know how people get 40mpg.

Last tank averaged around 40. Averaging around 1k mi/month. Got oil change and tire rotation today. Have to say, not many complaints about this car at all. It’s a workhorse and so far loving it. -

40psi cold? I usually just put the recommended cold psi recommended or maybe a coupe more. 35 is recommended so I put 36-37. Lately driving almost all in town and averaging about 38mpg. -
Getting Better Fuel Economy NOT using the EV+ mode
Staves replied to Sky14FFH's topic in General Discussion
Not for me. Ever since I've kept it in Eco mode all the time, my gas mpg has improved. 40-42avg now vs 36 in non-eco mode much of the time. -
The hybrid alone loses trunk space b/c of the battery which creates the extra "shelf". It's not ideal but I still have enough space back there. Since the Energi loses even more trunk space, I didn't even consider it. What's the point of a full sized sedan with minimal trunk space? To me, it's no point. Plus the Energi would have cost thousands more out of the gate. I think that's why I see a lot more hybrids than Energis.

I'm always in eco mode.

Filled up tonight. Computer said 75mi range. Got in 11.1 gallons after a couple clicks of the pump into 473 mi, which is 42mpg. Don’t ask me why I did so much better this tank. Have done a little rideshare driving but not tons. Have no idea. Have been in eco mode 100% of the time. Maybe that’s it. -

LOL. That means nothing. I get those 99mpg summaries on short drives too. Hand calculated average on fill ups are all that matter. -

Just filled up again. Topped off the tank. Got in 12 gallons for 435 miles. That's 36.25mpg average last tank. Computer said my average for 435 miles was 40.9, lol.
