Trying to get this look on my 2019 sel hybrid The major question: two part numbers here for stock accelerator assemblies: DG9C-9F836-CD DG9C-9F836-AB The AB comes in the hybrid. I wonder if straight swapping the pedal would be fine to the CD, or if it just won't even work. Or worse yet, it breaks something if i attempt it. The brake pedal is easy as it just has rubber surrounding the whole thing. Comparing the two parts side by side, they look pretty identical, but electrical can always be deceiving. Thoughts? anyone with wiring diagrams to see if this will just fry anything? Thanks in advance. Charles Lam

tires or tire pressure are probably the big one here. Check your door jam on the driver's side to get what ford suggests your car. apparently there are 3 different rim sizes for this car, and all have different psi ratings. I also have a 2019 ford fusion hybrid SE (non-energi) i was getting around 30-35mpg combined before i switched to a K&N air filter. i know there are a lot of haters for this type of filter so i will put the disclaimer, its your vehicle do what you want. but i know plenty of people in the other ford fusion forum were advising against it saying they could "see holes and light through their K&N air filter", i didnt in mine with a light shining on the other end. they also said it would kill a sensor in my car, it hasnt yet. I was then getting 45 combined mpg -ish when i had the stock michelin LRR tires. they were getting low on tread and i have replaced them with a set of kumho tires. not LRR. and ive seen my mpg drop to now about 42 combined mpg-ish. I have also used STP gas treatment which is like $1 a bottle at walmart, doesnt do much for this car. i know in my lexus and my old mitsubishi it would do wonders. i would buy 10 of em and keep em in the back seat and use it at every fill up. i really havent noticed anything gained or lost with the ford. I also use my autoclimate control religiously, so AC always a pumping in the texas sun. just my $.02 Good luck OP.

Agreed. I made the mistake of just trusting them instead of checking over the car myself. Rim was damaged and slowly leaking air. they said they "check all vehicles before going to sales lot" apparently they forgot this one as there was still bubblegum someone left on the rear headrest. i keep it there as a reminder everyday to not trust dealerships. check things out yourself and the fact it had a failure this soon, means they are trying to pass off a car with a gremlin they arent willing to spend the time on fixing. let it be someone else's mistake.

Yeah but then you probably wouldnt get 200hp. I have a hybrid SE, prolly same model as your car, and one of the biggest fears was that performance would not work out with highway driving. my car (Rachel) she can get up and go when she needs to, but she's a heavy girl.

from a quick glance on the google people are saying that you might be able to find out the issue from a CEL reading or what not. it might be due to a part failing like exhaust related sensors.- 3 replies

my take on the ford updates. i was stuck on 3.3 for forever. I would connect to the wifi, and every time it would be determined that i was on the latest. for grins and giggles i looked it up on ford's website. 3.4 was the latest about a month ago. so i downloaded it to a flash drive and proceeded to update. now remember this is from Ford's official firmware page. it SHOULD be the latest, greatest, nothing newer.... it spent about 4 hours updating. once fully done, it decided to update once more. this took another hour. after that to my count it has updated 2 more times when connected to my home's wifi (less than 5 minutes each). i would strongly suggest pushing through the updates again and again until you are sure you have the latest. once i did all of this, it has been very smooth and quick. but when i did the first 2 updates, climate control was wonky. i didnt run into the exact issue you did, but maybe pushing through more updates might fix the issue. If you dont trust the wifi doing the trick, download to a flash drive like i did and that reloads the whole linux OS if i read it correctly. something tells me the developers for it are at odds with ford for pushing updates to it, or the left doesnt know what the right hand is doing over there at ford. https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/keep-your-sync-up-to-date.html regardless, good luck and if the updates dont fix it, i would definitely go to a dealer and ask them about it.
