  1. is it more of a shudder or a vibration when the engine is running? how long does it last?
  2. 2016 with 116k on it. very well maintained. Outside temp was about 30deg. car sat for approx 9 hours. i went out to start it to warm up before i left work. as soon as i turned the key forward, the engine kicked on and started flooring it a few times all on its own?!?!?!? i was reaching through the pass door so i wasnt even sitting in it. Once it stopped wrapping out my ice cold engine... it sort of idled down to normal cold idle...it stumbled a bit but eventually it calmed down. this is the 3rd winter ive had this thing and the first time its ever done that. has this happened to anyone else?
  3. the other plugs look normal worn with a bit of carbon soot as seen in the side by side pic. the #3 appeared more beige.
  4. 106k on my FFH and decided to change plugs. i used SF530 Motorcrap plugs and found this. Cylinder 3 plug had a ton of oil on the threads so i boroscoped that cylinder and found a rather clean piston. I know that the engine itself doesn't actually have that but am i to be alarmed? Granted i didn't check the other holes as i was just worried about the oil on the plug. i look at the electrode as well and it is of a different color than the other plugs. as seen in the attached photos. I'm not seeing any real world issues on this engine in my basic searches. i was really expecting a bit more carbon build up
  5. whenever i coast the regen kicks in automatically. FROM WHAT I REMEMBER THE '16 and older didn't do that on the fusion and cmax.
  6. the ECO button on the console puts more emphasis on the heavier regen and leaning more on the battery. let go of the gas and regen kicks in hard(like jakes on a semi). the older models done regen unless the brakes are applied from what i understood. the down hill button on the shifter keeps the regen from overloading the battery, again from what i understood whilst driving around in branson mo which is all hill... both ways
  7. the button next to the shifter on the center console.
  8. ive tried searching but did not see anything posted. Just wondering if it has been shown to improve mpg in winter to leave the ECO on or off.
  9. when i bought my 16 it was inspected and found a leak on the cover as well. it was more of a seep, just enough to collect dirt. not worth fixing till it starts dripping. ive tried many different additives/stop leaks and none soo far have ever worked.
