  1. I have the gray Plat. 2017 fusion. 13K on it now and love it! I just got my invite to place the order on the Tesla 3 and put a hold on it.
  2. they updated the system. I leave it on when shutting car off as i always did.
  3. I was told that the radio did not shut off and it should have. Brought the car in 3 times until then found the radio was not powering down. Sounds did not come out of the radio and the radio shut off on the screen so you would never tell that the power was not off. Since they found this so called issue my car has been fine. it could be your radio or something else that is not powering off. Other than this fixed issue I love the car. Now averaging 42mpg:)
  4. I live in a city with tight parking and use it all the time. First time I used it I thought the parking assist did turning and braking (should have read the manual). Car backed into the space accurately and quickly hitting the car behind me. Quickly realized I needed to do the braking. The monitor tells you when to brake and shift. Now that i figured it out it's a great feature that never gets the parking wrong.
  5. I believe my dead battery issue is finally dead. I was away for 8 days with the car sitting idle came back home and it started right up. Looks like they fixed my issue which was the radio not shutting off.
  6. I have/had the same two issues, windows and deep sleep mode/car dying. The windows I still have on and off. When I self fix them by holding button down it works for a few weeks then the issue returns. The bigger issue with deep sleep/car dead has been fixed (so far x-fingers) 1. I took a picture of each of the 7 "deep sleep" notices I got on my ford pass (using my iPhone). Many times the car went into deep sleep mode multiple times a week. Deep sleep should only go into effect when you have not used the car more than 14 days to reserve power. (note: The second time the car died they replaced the battery since it was shown to be low of power). When my car was towed back on the flatbed after the car died for the 3rd time I provided the photos to my service tech who was also surprised of this notice. Photos do a great job of showing them you are not nuts. 2. My car was kept for around 12 days, half of which it was sitting waiting for a hybrid service rep. 3. Once they reviewed the car they found that the radio power stayed on while the car was shut down. You could not hear the radio or see any lights. The power was draining the 12v battery which kicked on the "deep sleep" mode. 4. Its been two months with the car back and no deep sleep notice since. Have your service rep check the radio and anything else that could stay on that could drain your battery.
  7. So I too have same window issues as well as take issue with poorly designed rear license plate holder (bottom of plates do not stay in the rubber buttons) which rattles when I close the trunk. Both of which i put on my list for repairs when brought to Ford. When i got the car back they did not fix the license plate, don't know about the windows yet. I believe they have a fix besides the hold down of the button for 3 seconds which we can do but does not last long. So are you in PPBeach or PPBoro?
  8. Go to the "deep sleep mode" issues heading. This is where I have been posting my dead battery issues on my 2017, platinum hybrid. This latest dead battery issue from 2 weeks ago hopefully has been resolved today by Ford Engineers. They found that the radio does not shut off when car does killing the battery or putting the car in sleep mode. The first time I had an issue (3 times total) the "systems off" came up on my screen. Since then car has gone into sleep mode (go onto the Ford app - messages to see this) 8 times and the battery has died twice. Ron
  9. Dan, Got the car back today after two weeks. The Ford "engineers" came up with a radio issue. Apparently when you shut the radio off it really did not turn off which put the car into sleep mode or killed the battery. Believe this? Not sure if I do. They are leaving my case open for awhile... I will be away in June for 10 days. Good time to find out if the car dies:( The service rep has been very helpful/understanding. He informed ford that next time this happens I'm going to go into the buyback plan. Love the car but now I'm glad I only have a 2 year lease. Also, looking forward to warm weather and going "down the shore":) Ron
  10. Car will be at dealer 2 weeks this wednesday. Received a text from dealer service dept "have the Tech on the phone with the "Hybrid specialist". Lets see what happens this week?!! Don't want a car in which I need to carry around a charger just in case. Looked up lemon law in NJ and the car/service is now qualified for submitting an application.
  11. Thanks, My "writer" had no clue. But my prior writer is the head writer is more aware of the car but not enough. They do not have a full time "EV" gu y so they have the car sitting in lot waiting for that so-called person and the ford rep to come and look at the issue. I see you have the 2017 Platinum which is what I have in gray. Other than this issue, which is major, I love the car.
  12. My F___ing Sleep Mode issue did not last long after getting battery replaced a month ago. I went away for 5 days. Came back late Wednesday night, went to garage to get car and drive home only to find the car DEAD! Used the manual key to get in and tried the "manual" start per the FordPass app which said the car was in Sleep Mode due to not being used for "14 days or more". Well 3rd time this happened. Went to All American Ford in Hackensack and each time I expected it to be fixed. Had to call ford to get jump start. Back at dealer now. They are waiting for a Ford Service Rep to look at car. Lemon Law time? Car is only 4 months old has gone into sleep mode 8 times (when not used between 3 & 5 days) and battery dead 3 times.

  14. It will be a month this week since the battery was replaced. Happy to report all is well with the car. Damm windows need to be reset every so often but I can deal with that with the quick reset fix I found on the forum.
  15. I just got my 2017 FFH and have the same problem. These posts go back 3-4 years. Can't believe Ford has not put in their budget $1 to fix this annoying problem
