If you have a sunroof like my 2011, it most likely is leakinf from the drain tube thar runsfrom the top down the passenger side od the rear roof pillar and dow to the rear quarter panel where it drains out t. My tubing was cracked and really hard to get to, so It would fill the jack compartment amd then overflow to the spare. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the compartment to allow it to drain out.

I have a 2011 FFH, 85k miles. After a recent rain i noticed a drip below the rear bumper. Pulled up the trunk liner flap and noticed I had water under the spare and the jack storage compartment was full of water. My car was parked uphill in the driveway during the rain and it has a mild slope to the street. After drying everything out I put silicone sealant on the tail light fasteners thinking they might be the cause. Expecting more rain tonight so we’ll see if that was it. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
