The oem lights did not turn off when the turn signal comes on. There was no relay. I cannot get the lights to stay on at any point for some reason

Hey everyone Just got my first hybrid. 2013 fusion. I love it but I am finding out there are a lot.of little things going on with the car that make it difficult. For example I just wired up an HID kit. When I turn them on the drivers side does not illuminate until about 5 min after the batteries charge from driving the car around. This kit was just a plug in kit. No separate ground wire attachment. Is there a way to get this bulb to turn on like normal
