  1. I talked to my CSM earlier and updated him--after the battery swap everything seems to be going well. No problems starting the car, and no battery saver messages so far.
  2. He left a message, but I hadn't picked up my car yet so I didn't get a chance to call back (I will this afternoon). I picked it up yesterday evening; they said they changed the battery after searching for a battery drain all day with no luck. Hopefully that takes care of it, but only time will tell.
  3. Roadside assistance sent someone out and got it jumped, which worked on the first try. I drove it to the dealer and left it with them overnight. Hopefully today they'll figure out what's really causing my issues and get it back to me all fixed up. I've been working with one service manager the whole time and he understands my concerns and has been pretty accommodating so far. I also talked to the shop foreman yesterday so he could make sure he understood all the aspects of the problem and the exact course of events, but it didn't sound like he had a good idea of where to start, so hopefully he'll have a good helpful conversation with Ford engineering and come up with a solution.
  4. I had my Fusion at the dealer on Thursday, where they did a more in-depth check of everything and determined they needed to "reprogram" the computer that controls the charging. I didn't ask specifically, but I'm guessing this was one of the TSBs talked about earlier in this thread, probably 13-7-11. It worked great Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Didn't drive it Saturday or Sunday, then this morning it wouldn't start. Battery is completely dead, no lights, no locks, etc. Going to contact my dealer and have them tow it to their service department and have another look. This is getting very old very fast... I have a customer service case open, so hopefully they'll intervene and make sure everything goes smoothly, as well.
  5. I couldn't tell you exactly how long they charged it, but they called me after just 3 hours saying it's ready for pickup, not to mention I had them check out another potential issue and wash the car. I'm determined not to have to tend the battery, so I'll keep visiting the dealer until the message goes away for good. As for TSBs, I believe the only current TSBs specify a cold weather requirement, so it wouldn't apply to me. And regarding a larger (and deep-cycle) battery, if Ford can't fix the issue I may turn to this COA, but not until the warranty runs out.
  6. Unfortunately, my dealer trip didn't go too well. As I feared, they charged it and tested it, and of course it tested fine. Charging it also made the message go away...for about 20 hours. The next day it happened the first time I got in the car. My trips have been longer than 20 minutes and it's been averaging temps around 80F here in Vegas. Planning on returning to the dealer on Thursday. I have about 23400 miles on the car.
  7. I've had my hybrid since March 2013 and have seen this before, but it resolved itself; now it's back and I've seen the 12V battery voltage drop from 13.7V when I shut the car off to 10.4V just 4 hours later. Nothing plugged in, no lights on, and I get about 2 seconds of accessory mode when I shut off the car before it goes into power saver mode. I'm going to the dealer on Saturday in the hopes that they'll swap out the battery and that'll take care of it. Is there anything in particular I should mention or anything else I should know about the issue beforehand? Does this fix still seem to be working for most cases? Thanks.
