  1. My Ford dealer recommended that I get a trickle charger for my 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid - I leave it for 3 - 4 weeks at a time in a garage. I did have to replace the battery, and now I no longer get the battery saving mode message, but did get to learn about how to get into the car, etc when there is NO 12volt battery capability. Does anyone have a recommendation for the type of trickle charger (all I seem to find are chargers for when the battery is dead, I wish to keep it from dying while not using the car)? And would it be attached under the hood, and not on the actual 12 volt battery in the back? From reading forum articles - I am guessing I should use the connections under the hood. Thanks in advance for any help.
