  1. Another quirk that came with the 3.8 update is the loss of the ability to use an address in your contacts/phonebook as a destination in Navigation. Prior to 3.8 you could designate an address in your contacts as a destination. It's now gone. Win a few, lose a few.
  2. The ability to apply an address in the phonebook as a destination in Navigation was there before it disappeared in MFT before v3.8. Why remove a feature?
  3. Whatever happened to setting an address in the phonebook as a destination in Navigation? At one time I could go to the phonebook and select an address as my Navigation Destination. Since 3.8 that option is gone and I have to go through the whole address entry process in Navigation. What a pain! QuoteMultiQuoteEdit

  5. Thank you srogers. That worked perfectly.
  6. I brought my 2013 FFH to the dealer for the update. During the installation the shop's computers shut down, stranding my system update midstream. As a result the system was wiped out and required a total re-installation. An hour became a whole day. Fortunately, the dealership gave me a "courtesy" car for the day. But the update turns out to be no big deal and hardly worth the inconvenience. Now instead of holding my iPhone button to talk to Siri through Sync, I hold the voice button on the steering wheel. I still don't receive text messages on the Sync screen or as a voice message. That function worked for me on only one occasion but I have not been able to activate it again. Anyone have any suggestions?
  7. The Ford Sync website might be wrong often, but if it says MyFord Touch Sync is up to date, and it isn't, where do I go to get the update to download?
  8. Ford issued the official announcement today on the 3.8 update for all MyFord Touch vehicles back to 2011. However when I check the site I'm told that my 2013 Fusion Hybrid is up to date with 3.6.2. Anybody have a clue why this is?
  9. Jason, you're accelerating in the BLUE! Wow. If I stayed in the blue while accelerating, I'd have a mile of cars backed up behind me. As soon as I hit the accelerator the ICE kicks in.
  10. Ashley, How do I post a PM (which I assume means a Private Message)? Goody

Actually that was the entire trip. But overall, I've seen a significant drop in MPG and a major change in the way the car drives since the "recalibration" in September 2013. Prior to the "recal" I would have true hybrid performance with the EV and ICE running together. Now it's either running on the ICE or on EV. And the slightest acceleration or push on the accelerator and the engine kicks in, dropping the instantaneous MPG to 20. Most times the instantaneous MPG reading is 20 or all EV at 60. On a short trip of a give or take a mile or two, I might get in the 20s. On longer drives of five miles or more, I'll get in the upper 30s or mid 40s. I do live in metro Atlanta where it is a bit hilly. But overall, my total history since April is around 40 mpg. Before the recalibration I was getting around 47. I truly believe the "recalibration" degraded the car's performance.

Has anyone tried to get their Fusion Hybrid reset BACK to the original factory setting of prior to the "recalibration?" I've never seen anything like this before. Usually if I make a run solely on EV I'll see MPG 99.9. But 137 MPG is startling. It makes me wonder if something has gone wrong with the display or the computer.
  15. Installed my new air intake tube with resonator on my March 2013 built SE Hybrid. I don't notice much of a noise improvement. I'll be interested to see if my service tech notices it the next time I bring the car in.
