    Depending on your commute be sure to consider the Fusion Energi. We have a 2015 Energi and most of our driving is local, allowing us to keep the ICE off for the entire trip. We have 19,000 miles on it right now with a life time average MPG of 191. Gary

    Be careful here. If you are changing out the lights so that you can duplicate the how the lights work on a Titanium, ie the outer ring also on when the lights or on and the center light is used as the brake light, that is not possible. It would take a computer change to get that functionality. The picture posted above is what you will experience and that is not how the Titanium functions. Gary

    We have a 2015 FFE that we tow behind our motorhome, we are fulltimers. Never had any error codes while towing. We also never had any trouble with the 12 volt system since the manual instructions for towing my car says to put it in the off position, not accessory. I believe that they changed the instructions for 2013 and 2014 to be to turn to off not accessary. Gary

    Nothing, in EV Later mode the car will still act like a hybrid and turn the motor on and off as needed. Gary

    Tim, I would not attach anything to the car's 12 volt system for any reason. That battery is very small and does not have a lot of capacity. Your brake system could easily discharge that battery depending on how ofter the brake system engages. Since you bought a proportional system my assumption is that the system will engage at also every stop. You will kill the battery if that is the case. Gary

    Standing in front of the car looking at the firewall. To the right of the brake booster, big black tank looking thing, there is a large bundle of wires running through the firewall. That bundle has a large black rubber gasket that seals the hole. We just poked a hole on the side of that gasket toward the edge of the gasket. Worked great! Gary

We have used it 3-4 days of towing without having to charge it up. We got it a lot cheaper at Costco. As a side note, right or wrong, I have a different philosophy for how to set the Patriot up. My thought is that the only time I want the car brakes to come on is when I am in a panic stop situation. With the size of brakes in these motorhomes I do not see the need to wear out the car brakes during a normal stop. Also in my case with the engine brake on the diesel motor I usually only use the brakes the last 10 mph or so. So proportional breaking was not important to me when we bought the Patriot. Gary

    Tim, I'm not sure what you are trying to power with the 12 volt line. Since the car is towed in the OFF position I have not need to keep the 12 volt battery charged. Have towed it 3-4 days in a row without disconnecting and never had a battery problem, so no need for 12 volts there. We use a Blue Ox Patriot brake system, it requires a 12 volt supply to operate. I put a car jump starter with a battery that I put on the passenger floor and plug the Patriot into that for power. Gary

    Yes they did, but they were never able to duplicate the exact behavior of the Titanium lights, it requires a computer change. Gary

    I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. I doesn't make the tires shine but it does darken them up and it also provides UV protection. Gray

    AirbusGuy, I have a 2015 Fusion Energi and will be getting the baseplate installed in about a week. I was looking around trying to figure out how they will run the wire for the tail lights. My question is how did they run the wires to your tail lights? Did they go through the firewall or underneath the car and come up through the trunk or some other way entirely? I will be using magnetic lights on inside rear shelf near the rear window of the car. What I can not figure out is how to get the wire back to the lights that will be mounted inside the car. Gary

    Was your car plugged in when you did your test in the garage. What I was wondering is can I get the benefit of pre-conditioning using remote start while it is plugged in without the ICE starting? Duh, never mind you don't have an Energi. It would be interesting to see if it would work that way. My car is not here with us while we are in Seattle, so I can't test it myself.

    So the question is will the ICE start if the car is in neutral and cabin heat is called for due to low outside temperature? If not then under those conditions it would mimic a Go Time pre-condition of the cabin if you were plugged in. Gary
