  1. Got my letter on Friday (yesterday) and got it done today. Cruised home on the freeway at 70 in EV mode. For me at nearly 1,500 miles per week to/from work at highway speeds I hope to see an increase in my avg mpg (in the car showing 42.2 after 30K miles).
  2. I got my letter on Friday (yesterday) and got it done at my local dealer today! I drove home in EV mode at 70 on the freeway. Since I drive nearly 1,500 miles a week to/from work it will be interesting to see if I can get my lifetime avg mpg up from the 42.2 (almost all highway speeds) I have seen during the first 30K miles.
  3. 11.069 for me. I drive 300 miles/day M-F and gas is usually 60(+) cents more per gal in California where I work compared to what I pay in Vegas (every fillup has been in Vegas thus far). This means most my fillups are usually 6-8 gals. After my Friday morning fillup I get my 300 miles and if the "honey do" list is big (= multiple trips to Home Depot throughout the weekend) some weekends I get more than 400 miles on a tank.
  4. So I replaced my 2007 Mustang GT (Vista Blue) with a 2011 Fusion Hybrid (White Platinum). This year I came around full circle to blue again with 'Blue Beast IV'. My wife says the sting of replacing a GT Mustange with a hybrid is deminished if the newest hybrid is a similar color...
  5. Okay, I practiced my usual impatience and just decided to figure it out... For anyone that wants their USB charging cables up front (center, open console area) instead of inside the rear center console box here's what to do: 1. [Carefully] Remove the molding pieces on each side of the center console (they both run the length of the console) 2. [Carefully] Remove plastic molding piece that surrounds the climate controls/radio/touch screen 3. [Carefully] Remove the large plastic piece with the cup-holders, then disconnect the one cord that is attached to it 4. [Carefully] Remove the 2 plastic pieces that go around the shifter 5. [Carefully] Drill holes above USB plugs (drill from front of car to rear) that will accomodate the USB cable(s) you want to run forward 6. Run USB cables through drilled holes from console box into open area, plug USB cables in 7. Route one cable to each side under piece of trim that is still there and out small gap on back of each "pillar" that runs down from the radio. The gap accommodated easily each of my USB cables (iPhone 5 and BlackBerry) and you can see them in this picture (taken from under the steering wheel looking rearward. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6j9agWsoBBOY253N2c0aWsyOVE/edit?usp=sharing 8. Put it all back together in reverse order [Carefully]. I hope this helps anyone who may want their cables plugged in and up front.
  6. A friend told me they saw this posted somewhere but I have had no luck finding it... I want to route my USB cables from the USB ports in the center colsole storage compartment to the storage area in the front center [open] storage area. Has anyone done this? Is there an easy way to route them under the center console?
