  1. FTA: Toyota may have an all-new Prius, but it’s being realistic with its sales potential. With gas prices dropping worldwide, Toyota has lowered its sales target for the new Prius to global annual sales of 300,000 to 350,000 units. That’s the lower end of the spectrum compared to the 300,000 to 400,000 sales target for the previous model. One of the factors for the reduced sales target is an overall decline of annual sales for the hybrid since 2013. According to the Japanese automaker’s monthly sales records, U.S. sales of Prius models have dropped 12 percent in the year to November compared to the same period last year. 2. Yeah, all that experience-led design was helped a great deal by the comments on these two FFH and FFE forums I bet. Many of us learned a lot by buying the 2013 MY Hybrid and Energi, we found and solved problems, suggested improvements, kept a running commentary about how the cars were doing and quite a lot of our time and money was spent sitting in Service waiting rooms or driving rental cars - and more.
  3. Good memory!TSB 14-0085 in our TSB Section shows .6 hours allowed for "additional time to check and correct front toe". Smr2112, show that to the Dealer, they need to reimburse you for their mistake.
  4. B25Nut uses the very best cyanoacrylate (CA) adhesives, BSI brand.
  5. Certifed Pre-Owned = CPO. Dealerships can offer a CPO Warranty on used vehicles. http://www.ford.com/certified-used/inspection/ Extended Service Plan = ESP. Owners can purchase vehicle repair coverage for longer periods than the initial new car warranty. https://owner.ford.com/maintenance/ford-protect.html?pagename=Owner/Page/ESPPage
  6. Hello, For information regarding something like you describe, look in the Owner's Manual that came with your car for 'Better Business Bureau' and follow the instructions.
  7. Costco will not replace tires unless the size is in the manufacturers matrix for that particular make and model.

  9. That is not unusual, the Ford Owner's website often displays incorrect Sync updates. Mine was always wrong.
  10. Back in 2014 there was a problem with incorrect fuel gauge readings and a TSB was issued. If your car is still under the BtB Warranty it might be a good idea to visit the Dealer and tell/show them what is happening. If you have access to a camera it is a good idea to take pictures of your dash readouts to show the service tech's, they won't try to fix the problem if they can't reproduce it.
  11. Probably a good time to have your battery tested. A low input battery charger (trickle) will not start your car if the battery is discharged. It would take some time to add the Amps necessary to start the car and is probably why the car started after leaving the chargers on for 1 hour. As noted, there is only one 12v battery, it is in the trunk. The front connections are the proper way to charge the battery in these cars. Here are some answers --> http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/9602-ffh-factoids-parts-quiz/?p=95811
  12. I don't recall anyone on this Forum towing with these cars but several have added a hitch and used it for carrying bikes on a hitch mount bike rack. This is one of those things that you do because you want to and accept the risk of being denied warranty work if a costly component fails and the Ford dealer sees the hitch installed. Ford can't deny any and all warranty work, just something related to installing a prohibited aftermarket device. It really is your decision.
  13. My opinion... 1. Maybe Meagan or Rebecca, our Ford Customer Service Rep's, can help you with this one. 2. Your fuel gauge is working about normal for these cars, there is no way to improve it's functions that we have seen. The plastic gas tank is 13.5 gallons and the reserve is approximately 1/8th of a tank. See this description: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6941-low-fuel-warning/?p=57015 Fill your tank just before driving in remote areas, don't gamble. Remember, when driving in cold weather these cars will get lower mpg's than in moderate weather, you won't get as far per tank of fuel. 3. If you buy an ESP Warranty from an on-line Dealer like Flood Ford it is cheaper, don't skimp on coverage because these cars are expensive to fix. The ESP Warranty is transferable and refundable if you sell the car.
  14. Another 30 days in the shop and one more car payment.... Hope they washed it and filled the fuel tank.
  15. Don't know but it seems like a safety item. They may try to claim it's 'misuse' though. You can download the Warranty Guide from the Forum here, take a look: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/9771-2013-fusion-hybrid-energi-publications/?p=93098

  21. I couldn't help myself and signed up with Lincoln for future updates, if I hear anything I'll post it. I may be in the mood for a new car in 2018 and I'm going to watch this MKzh.
  22. Hi, welcome to the Forum! In the 2014's Owner's Manual, page 92, it tells of the engine coolant temperature being in the MyView screen. For the 2016, that same info is on page 100 of the OM. Is that where you are looking? Maybe the Owner's Manuals are not correct, we have seen errors before.
