  1. Welcome! I hope you enjoy your Hybrid Titanium. I'm looking into purchasing one in the near future. I've been making a big stink about the Titanium Base 18in wheels here: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/5845-for-2013-fusion-hybrid-titanium-buyers-and-future-buyers/. I'm not certain if you feel the same way as I do about the wheels. However, I feel that I should bring it to your attention since you're an early buyer.
  2. I included a comment in there as well. The more people chime in the better.
  3. Please support my cause statement on Ford Social. http://social.ford.com/your-ideas/technologies/personalization/please-change-the-2013-fusion-titanium-18-inch-standard-wheels//?emailid=fs-auto-yri-acc "The Standard 18 inch Fusion Titanium wheel honestly looks terrible in comparison to the SE Sport and Luxury wheels. For what people are paying for in the Titanium model is should come with a better looking wheel than that." I am seriously considering looking at purchasing this car in Hybrid Titanium trim in near future and like some, feel that the Titanium Base 18 inch wheels have a lot to be desired. It's almost like a pigeon-holing maneuver to buy the 19 inch wheels. However, Mileage would start to suffer for Hybrid Titanium owners.
  4. Welcome! I look forward to your insights!
  5. This is also a whole new model. I know. I still own a first year, first gen model, 14 years later lol!
  6. Well I brought up the issue that the Standard 18 inch Titanium wheels (on the 2013 Fusion) look terrible in comparison to the SE Sport and Luxury wheels that are the same diameter. Seriously they look terrible. Who let these wheels come to fruition? What the Standard Titanium wheels couldn't look like the dark H spoke to the multi-Y spoke sport wheels at all? They seriously clash with the styling of the car. At least in my eyes. Please fix Ford.
  7. Author fails to mention speed. Loaded the car completely up too. I'll give him some credit that it should net a little better than what he got.
  8. I wouldn't worry about it too much. My friend had a '02 Mustang GT that was leaking oil everywhere, out of the head gaskets. He got the engine swapped under warranty. I think his car was a bit of a lemon too. Fuel pump went out at exactly 37k miles. Had some AC issues too. Still drove the car for years though. If the engine does go, it's just ammunition in your favor. Def gives you negotiation room if you decide to get the FFH-Ti model. Keep driving it and enjoy it, well as much as possible. It still does better than my Corolla! :shades: Edit: Remember this car is still VERY new. And you bought an early 1st gen. So issues will arise.
  9. You can't get the 19 inch Titanium wheels?
  10. Does your Fusion have the 18 inch wheels or 17 inch? I think this is useful information. Thanks!
  11. I can't stand the Standard Base Titanium wheels. Seriously they want you to upgrade to the 19s! I do like the black Luxury 18s. Perhaps look into that if you don't want the 19s. Since you're in FL you can rock the 19s easily.
  12. In trying to help you out and watch some Fusion Hybrid Reviews I came across Car and Driver's You Tube video review of the FFH. One of the more thorough and very insightful reviews I have watched. I also came across this video from C&D's YouTube video uploads:How Often Should You use Fuel Treatment Products? The older gentleman recommended using Top Tier fuels: http://www.toptiergas.com/index.html A little informative which may help out with the fuel deposit/fouling issue you're running into. From the site, and from what stations you visit, Shell seems to be the recommended place to get your gas. So try going there for a few fill ups and see what happens. Hope this helps!
  13. I've been a long time lurker. I'm highly interested in acquiring a FFH-Titanium as my next daily driver car over my current car '05 Corolla. Let me say I am sorry that you're having issues with your FFH however, I am glad you're speaking up about it. I'll also add that even with your mpg numbers you are besting me by about 5 mpg at the moment and you look WAY better doing it. The Corolla is a solid platform, cheap on maintenance, but boring as hell to drive lol! It's so not me and I've gotten bored with it. I typically get 33/34 mpg in the summer and 30ish in the winter. I've read your postings, even on other sites and forums (I know it's you lol) I think something may be wrong with your car. It may be computer related (something with the EV-mode controller perhaps?) I'm not sure what your miles driven over EV miles driven is. However, I don't think you'll be happy with a Focus. What will you get owning one over what you currently have now? What another 3 maybe 4 mpg? Do you think that would truly satisfy you in the long run? I would opt for the FFH-Titanium model instead (with 17s lol) if that's what you're looking for. Or pick up some sweet lightweight forged 18/19s and pimp out strong lol. My other opinion would be to contact Ford Corporate directly. Write a letter and address your issue. Have you tried running on 89 Octane as an experiment? Whatever you go with I wish you best of luck!
