Picking it up tonight at 6

It came in over the weekend. They are doing the paperwork. Maybe pick it up today or tomorrow!!

Nmadole.....I have a new C-Max and as for the milage, I've been doing better than the 47mpg advertised. Its really all in how you drive it. A lot of us over on the C-Max boards have found that if you accelerate normal until you get to the speed you want, then let up on the gas until the EV kicks in, and just feather the gas after that to hold speed, it works really well at keeping you gas milage high. I'm sure you can find more on the subject. Everyone has their own ideas, and mostly the people that are getting bad milage blame it on the car and not on their driving habits.

Still hasn't come in. I'm hoping for Today. If it does...probably won't pick up until Monday...I'm sure my insurance agent is closed for the holiday weekend.

Good reason. I also like to be considerate of other drivers on the road. I find myself not using EV mode from a dead stop because it takes too long to pick up speed which irritates the guy behind you. Instead I let the engine kick in, and once I get to my cruise speed I let up on the gas and let the EV kick in, and I find I can hold that speed with just EV. Its kinda like the old Automatic transmissions when they first came out. You had to let up on the gas to let them shift to the next gear....in this case you are just letting up on the gas pedal to let the EV mode start and then maintaining that speed in EV mode. I must be doing something right because I've been averaging between 45-48 miles per gallon per trip to work, 30 miles each way and sometimes in backed up traffic. Of course this is in my C-Max....I don't have my Fusion yet...supposed to be in at the dealer tomorrow.

Good news....its about time an American Company buys American. Or I should say its about time I've heard of one doing so.

dealer just gave me a delivery date of 11/21

Didn't get my Fusion yet, but I've had my C-Max a couple of weeks and at the beginning it was around 28mpg also. Now I'm up to 40mpg. I've kinda learned to drive better than I used to. You almost have to imagine that there is an egg between your foot and the accelerator. If you need to accelerate faster, because of traffic or whatever, then do so, but once you get to your speed that you need, go back to feathering the pedal. Also, I think my car was driven by the dealer when moving it around the lot, so when I got it, the overall gas milage reading was very low. I believe there is a way to reset it, and then you will be able to see what you do per tankful. I was reading the manual today, and it has something to do with holding the ok button on the steering wheel to reset. I was going to try it later today when I leave work.

If you have sync in your car...you have sync....end of story...its free. Now...sync services is another story. You get sync services free for 3 years. After that, I think its a $75.00 yearly fee. If you have navigation, there really isn't a big need for sync services unless you want the safety of having an automatic 911 call if you are in an accident. I've had it on 3 of my past Ford cars, and I've used it very few times. I figure if I have the Navigation system, I really don't need it.

My build date was 10/31. Still no word on Delivery.

I have My Ford Touch in my 2013 C-Max and it works perfectly. Of course I've only had it for two weeks.

Have one on order....I have a vin and window sticker. Bordeaux Reserve Red Metallic, SE Hybrid, Rear Camera, Nav, cloth Dune interior....etc. Can't figure out how to find out the delivery date without having to call the dealer everyday. They never get back to me anyway...
