  1. Who makes a repair manual for the 2010-2012 FFH? Haynes and Chilton do not.
  2. Does anybody know where one might find a repair/maintenance manual for the 2010-2012 FFH? Haynes and Chilton do not have one.
  3. My 2010 FFH only averages 35. We've never seen better than 38mpg on any one tank-full. It's supposed to average 39, which would mean a lot of 40+ readings to make that kind of average. Ain't happenin'. (35,000 miles on odo). Hope you have better luck. My dealer checked it out, but I don't trust them, and I don't even think they know their way around a hybrid car yet.
  4. As a former XM Satellite radio subscriber, I know what good reception is, and I'm not getting it out of my 2010 FFH's Sirius system. When I mentioned the lousy performance to my dealer, they ran a diagnostic and ended up replacing the entire Sony/Sync system. (About $5000 under warranty). No improvement at all. I'm thinking the antenna used in certain Ford vehicles is substandard. Which really blows, since that antenna is tied to your Nav, your other radio signals, and who knows what else. So it can't be replaced with an acceptable alternative without major surgery which Ford has yet to offer us. I experience signal loss if I get even close to a bridge, overpass, or even large tree. I miss my XM, big time! I cancelled my Sirius even though I am satellite radio's biggest fan.
  5. Never, ever, ever extended warranties......ever! You would not believe what a profit center and cash cow extended warranties are for the dealership and the underwriter. I have worked in a Ford and Toyota dealership in a sales capacity. I have seen it all. I have done it all. I know where the cash comes from and where it goes. If you do your homework and research your vehicles, you will never, ever, ever need to pay for someone's vacation or Christmas bonus again, (by forking over thousands needlessly). Sure, it pays off. About as often as the lottery. The numbers are staggering. I wouldn't have believed it myself if I hadn't seen it first hand. Also, never, ever, ever, ever bring your vehicle in as a "trade-in". You might as well bend over, and bring extra lube!
