djminfll Report post Posted March 27, 2015 Driving to work this morning, my local stations were priced at $2.339; at 7PM on my way home, same stations were $2.559... YIKES! Of course, my tank so far is at 47.4mpg, so it's not as painful for me as it is for everyone else.
acdii Report post Posted March 28, 2015 Filled in Monroe for $2.36. Still 2.79 near my house.
GrayStrider Report post Posted March 28, 2015 Bought gas today at $2.299, about 2 hours later my mom went to the same station, price is now $2.799. All the other stations are also up to $2.799. Fifty cent jump in gas prices. I WISH ours was that low! We've gone from 3.499 after a refinery fire in the state back down to 3.259 this week - after hitting a low of 2.499 locally over the Christmas holiday. machoman1337 Report post Posted March 29, 2015 It's still $1.20/litre here or $4.54 CAD/gallon. At the current exchange rate that would be about $3.60 USD - astronomically low for Vancouver (the most expensive gas in Canada, beating Toronto by 15-20 cents a litre on average) but still makes your $2.79 look like nothing :P
acdii Report post Posted March 29, 2015 Yep, thats true. The higher prices go though, the better it makes my recent car change I did worth it. I had based my decisions on gas at $2.50 a gallon, so that $158 a month difference just gets larger the higher gas goes up.
