Hyper Yellow Fog Lamps

Recommended Posts

Anyone out there with a '13 - '15 FFH installed those hyper yellow fog light bulbs they sell on the CD3 site? If so, how much of a PITA is it to put them in? Do they actually work better in fog than the stock bulbs? Do you like the overall look of them when they're on? Thinking of getting some but would like a little feedback first. Thanks!

I installed yellow bulbs in the fog lights on my Mustang because people frequently flash me thinking they are brights. You can hardly tell they are there when they are off, but when they are on they cast a nice yellow light and look kinda cool. I don't think they help much more in the fog, but they do work well.

These are Nokya Arctic Yellow H10 bulbs

I put the PIAA yellow ion fogs in. As much pita ax the headlights...still have to remove bumper. I prefer yellow fogs over clear. Can't tell when they are off. But definitely worth it functionally in foggy areas, aesthetically if you have hids really nice..if staying with halogens...not so much.

I wouldnt say you have to remove the bumper. If you remove that lower wind deflector under the car you should be able to get to them. Removing the bumper isnt all that hard though either. What ever you do stay away from the yellow film you can put on the lens. I have seen people smoking theres and the fogs get so hot it blisters and bakes it on.
