2014 Uncomfortable seats

Finding after only a few months, on very long drives, that the front seats are almost unbearable. Have invested in high end gel pads with little success....

 

am i trapped or is there a way to swap out other factory seats (thinking $$), or another solution someone has found....?

I don't know the answer to the specific question that you are asking. But, I have found that the seats that come with the "Luxury package" are the most comfortable car seats I have ever experienced. I've taken several long trips without any back pain whatsoever. And this is even with the concept that accompanying the exceptional FFH mileage, there are not necessarily any gas stops for 8+ hours. I do not know if you can purchase these seats separately, but I would encourage you to go back to the dealer to see you if you can try out an FFH so equipped. What works for me may not work for you, but perhaps this could be a viable option.

Please give some additional info on the car you have, year & model, option packages.

Without specifics we're guessing at the problem.

You have not mentioned the model you have, but if it's the TI model, many have stated the seats in the Ti model are not as comfortable as the SE seats.

I guess it all depends what seats you had previously. I have had no issues with our 2013 FFH SE seats.

 

What was the car that you previously had?

The ti model seats with heated and ventilated seats look like the regular hyti seats yet are much more comfortable and cushy.
