robertlane Report post Posted December 17, 2014 I am making a few changes, so it might be slow from 1:00pm, est to 1:05pm, est. - about five minutes.
GrySql Report post Posted December 17, 2014 I wonder why the printed words in the green band of the main page are fuzzy. On my iMac it isn't easy to see but my Retina display on the iPad clearly shows the printed words as doubles - Photo Gallery, Contact Us and View New Content look blurred. If you move to another page any words in the green band are blurred as well. All the other areas of the pages have clear printing, I don't see the blurring any place but in the green band just below the picture of the ice blue FFH. hybridbear Report post Posted December 17, 2014 I've noticed that too GrySql but had not commented on it before. Thanks for bringing it up.

murphy Report post Posted December 17, 2014 It looks fine on Windows 7.
GrySql Report post Posted December 17, 2014 It shows in that one area only. These Retina displays show things that an ordinary monitor won't.I'm looking at it right now on my iPhone with a Retina screen and that printing in the green area is blurred, like off center double letters. SteveB_TX Report post Posted December 17, 2014 Looks fine on my iPad (with retinal display). :)
GrySql Report post Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Looks fine on my iPad (with retinal display). :)Those Texas iPads have bigger screens... Oh well, it's nit-picking and the website looks clean and sharp now, a very nice cleanup and speedup. Click on the picture and look at the 'a', 'C' and 't'. Now I bet you want to know how you get a screenshot from an iPad, very tricksey. robertlane Report post Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) I've checked everything except Windows 7 and Android tablet and it looks normal. Seems restricted to only some systems, which is odd. Did this just start happening after the server move? Edited December 18, 2014 by robertlane
GrySql Report post Posted December 18, 2014 No, this was there before so it's not something to do with all the good things you've just accomplished. But since you've been fixing things up so nice I thought I'd mention it. I have two iPad 4's, 2 iPhones (all Retina displays) and a 27" iMac (non-Retina), all are using the latest OSX/IOS and I can see it on every device. I don't drink adult beverages or use any recreational drugs either... ;) :zombi:HB can see it too.==This is a picture of the page from Win 7 and IE, zoomed up to 300%, see the blur?No other print is like this. It's not a big thing, I'm sorry to have brought it up.
lolder Report post Posted December 18, 2014 I don't see the blur on a Dell 1525 and Windows XP. It looks perfectly sharp.

It's not a big thing, I'm sorry to have brought it up. I come to your rescue GrySql ;) and confirm that there is a blurr. It's only on the very top like we can see on the screen captures above. The individual forum headers look fine. When I use the full site view on my iPhone 6 I can see it on Chrome and Safari. Since I almost exclusively use the mobile view I like the way the site looks and functions.
