Texasota Report post Posted November 22, 2014 This waiting is no fun.................... I tried to view it as gloriously sweet torture. ;) It is worth the wait for a factory order. That way you get it exactly the way you want. 1 dfred reacted to this
GrySql Report post Posted November 22, 2014 This waiting is no fun....................When I ordered mine in October 2012 there were zero FFH's on any car lot within 100 miles of me.I'd never seen one in person nor sat in or driven one, I'd only read about it and seen video and internet pictures. To make matters even crazier this would be my first experience with any hybrid but I was positive I would never get a Prius. So I called my Autoland Rep and she suggested that I special order it, I did. It took 6 weeks from order to delivery, when we first saw it in person we were delighted - we still are.Hang in there, it's worth the wait. 2 gkinla and corncobs reacted to this
dfred Report post Posted November 23, 2014 I ordered a new Ford F-150 in 2013........ It took forever to get it....... About 5 months...... I felt like a kid at Christmas when it finally got here. I ordered my FFH the last part of October and it's supposed to be here December 2nd.... But for some reason it feels like it's taken longer this time...... I should have bought a used Harley..... The stress would have been lower lol.....
Texasota Report post Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) But for some reason it feels like it's taken longer this time...... I should have bought a used Harley..... The stress would have been lower lol.....Grab a copy of the online owners manual and read it cover to cover a couple of times. Will help pass the time and you will be ahead of the game when it arrives. I also used the waiting time to locate a spare tire kit and floor mats. I also spent lots of time listening, learning, and trouble making here on the FFH forum.
