rvlasek Report post Posted March 26, 2015 Could my numbers have something to do with PCM update and changing out 12v battery at same time which caused some electrical systems to RESET....
murphy Report post Posted March 26, 2015 Disconnecting the 12 volt battery causes the engine control to have to relearn all of its strategies for controlling the engine.
Texasota Report post Posted March 26, 2015 On board display is where I got numbers.... Don't trust or try to reach any conclusions based on the MPG reading on the trip displays. They can vary wildly from one fill up to the next when compared to hand calculated MPG results. Mine have varied from -3.46 under reporting to 8+ over reporting. Over the course of several thousand miles the MPG reading on the trip displays, on average, become reasonably accurate but they are very volatile from tank to tank (at least in my experience).
