lesjoh Report post Posted October 20, 2014 I had 14C03 seat back frame replacement done on my 2013 SE. Now when I recline the seat, it moves slightly, the motor stops, and I have to release and press the button again. This happens repeatedly until the seat is fully reclined. I don't think it was like this before the repair and the passenger seat does not operate this way. Has anyone else experienced the seat back not continuing to recline while you are holding the button?

hybridbear Report post Posted October 21, 2014 I don't know if anyone else has had this recall done to be able to give you an answer. That could explain the lack of response to your thread. corncobs Report post Posted October 22, 2014 Well that seems to be normal I tested it this morning. I never noticed it before I have to admit since I have only touch the recline once and has been there ever since.

Has anyone else experienced the seat back not continuing to recline while you are holding the button? My early 2013 SE leather driver's seat reclines all the way while holding the button, no stop/start behavior.Same thing for the up position, just hold the button to full upright, no stops along the way. It has not been replaced, it's the OEM seat back frame. 1 lesjoh reacted to this

lesjoh Report post Posted November 12, 2014 When my dealer checked the driver's seat, they found the motor was shorting out and causing the start/stop issue. Yesterday the new part was installed and the seat operates as it should. Thank you Rachel and CSM Leon for your help! 2 corncobs and GrySql reacted to this
