Sleddog Report post Posted August 26, 2014 Just got a letter for 25.00 for 6 months service. Looks like I'll wait until after the free demo period.

Hybrider Report post Posted August 26, 2014 Now I find out about this freebie tidbit, just hours after I paid for my very first paid subscription on my FFH. But I did wrangle the 6 mo. for $25 plan via a 10-minute call to their cancellation line and by saying the magic words. And my trial plan doesn't even expire until tomorrow, so I won't have to go without my Sirius tunes at all. :happy feet:
billford Report post Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Just got a letter for 25.00 for 6 months service. Looks like I'll wait until after the free demo period. What happens after 6 months? Can you cancel? Do you need to subscribe at the regular rate after the promotion for a number of months? I never renewed my subscription and its not clear what happens after the promotion. Sleddog Report post Posted August 27, 2014 They want a credit card so it will automatically renew. I call and cancel the auto renew. About a month later I get a letter with the 25.00 pricing. This may be the last time I renew. Over the last month I have been streaming Pandora and I'm enjoying it more then Sirius. 1 corncobs reacted to this
hermans Report post Posted August 27, 2014 I just received a notice that my unsubscribed XM satellite radio will work from August 26 (today) until September 8. I guess it's not for every car. My FFH is receiving the signal. The MKZh...not so much.
jeffo65 Report post Posted August 27, 2014 I guess it's not for every car. My FFH is receiving the signal. The MKZh...not so much.It should be for all cars that had SiriusXM. It worked on my son's Charger and daughter-in law's Equinox. Give them a call and see what they can do.
murphy Report post Posted August 27, 2014 There are only 60 channels that will work.
acdii Report post Posted August 27, 2014 Only thing that I would use is the weather. I have never used the Sirius in either of the Fusions or the Flex or MKT(never activated in the MKT since I got it).

hybridbear Report post Posted February 21, 2015 So sad that it's over. The Focus Electric continued getting Sirius until sometime around noon on the 20th, then it turned off.
mwr Report post Posted February 22, 2015 I have Sirius in my 2015 FFH for a free six month (I think) period. So far, I don't find it useful at all. I've tired using it numerous times and never have found anything I want to listen to. What am I missing?

I've tired using it numerous times and never have found anything I want to listen to. What am I missing?Have you looked through the station list to see what's available? I like lots of different kinds of music from oldies to jazz to soul and occasionally, I listen to comedy, CNN or talk. Plus for me, it's nice when driving to L. A. through the desert where there are sometimes No radio stations. I don't lose my signal and can listen to whatever I want. I'll keep it as long as they keep giving me deals like 5 Mos./$25, but I won't pay their full price.

TonyHzNV Report post Posted February 22, 2015 You should have gotten a Sirius channel guide with the car. Look through your stuff. That will give you a better idea what's available. I have all 18 MFT presets filled up with sat stations on Sat1, 2 & 3. It's hard to believe you can't find ANYTHING you like! ☺

I've tired using it numerous times and never have found anything I want to listen to. What am I missing? My favorite station is Watercolors Jazz. My wife likes The Coffee House. Sirius was also nice during our road trip to listen to the NFL playoffs without having to search for a local station with the game.
