DeeCee Report post Posted June 12, 2014 They look good but why don't you make your posts in the appropriate topic? There is a topic for lights in this forum.Put some similar LED's on mine several month ago. Got them at WalMart for under $20. 1 hybridbear reacted to this

DeeCee Report post Posted June 13, 2014 I see the topic has been moved to the correct area now. No problem. Did not mean it as criticism but just to get the topic where others might be looking for similar info. No, sorry, I don't have any pictures of mine. I installed my LED's as daytime running lights and wired them into the windshield wiper circuit which is powered anytime the ignition is on. I just added my own fuse to the LED line just to be sure any possible problem or short in that circuit would not affect the wipers. 3 hybridbear, corncobs and djminfll reacted to this
junior.29.dh Report post Posted June 14, 2014 Maybe I will wire mine that way. Where did u splice into that circuit at? Mine are spliced into the parking lights right now. Right at the headlight.
junior.29.dh Report post Posted June 14, 2014 Also what size fuse did u use?
DeeCee Report post Posted June 15, 2014 I tapped in to the 15A fuse for the wipers which is located in the fuse panel under the hood. Just soldered a small wire to one leg of the 15 amp fuse then I used a 3 amp fuse in the power line to the LED's. This way my LED's are on any time the car is in the run mode and the smaller 3 amp fuse would protect the wiper circuit should something short out in the LED circuit. Sleddog Report post Posted June 15, 2014 What body ground did you use.
DeeCee Report post Posted June 15, 2014 Just found a grounded screw close to the lights, One on the right fender area for the LED's on the right side and a similar grounded screw on the left for the left LED's. 1 Sleddog reacted to this
