Same thing as that focus works for the fusion

 

for us that might be a little slow could you inform us on how this proceedure is done please my old 03 focus i held down the trip reset button as i turned the key to on. Fusions dont have this button.

Oh, see my Fusion doesnt have the "info center" and other buttons. But anyway you hold reset and info while turning on the key. If that doesnt do it I know thats how you do it just try the other buttons. Im not 100% sure on that.

I'm new. What is a DTC?

 

Stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code, I believe. They're numeric codes that indicate certain what problem(s) have been occurring with the vehicle. Normally they're read by a service technician at the dealership using a diagnostic tool, but some cars there is a way to make the car show them to you, for example on the little LCD in your dash that shows you your fuel economy, trip odometer, etc. However, they're just numbers, so you also have to dig up some sort of listing as to what they mean.
